Mezza maratona al remoergometro - Half Marathon Rowing Machine

(Fatta! Done! :))

And the first attempt to cover the half marathon distance on the rowing machine (21,097 km/13,1 miles) went fine! The idea came into my mind at the beginning of the week and this morning i made it become reality!
The challenge was not the distance itself, but to be able to carry on a total body motion in a "steady" position and in a loose and relaxed way that was also powerful at the same time. For this reason, it was a remarkable mental training as well. I don't usually spend too much time on the indoor aerobic machines, but in this case, by keeping 27spm, it was all about a nice, long ride (running comparison) and since it was also the first shot, i got totally motivated to reach the end! Satisfied!; All day long i enjoyed the nice feeling of post workout relaxation because of the endorphines i produced!!
Here's an advice for those who want to try: keep your body properly relaxed and proceed at a comfortable and nice pace. We're talking about a long distance, so split it in two parts. When you got halfway, take a short break and drink as much as it takes, eat some sweet supplement as maltodextrin or something (for example i use to put a little honey candy under my tongue and let it melt slowly) and wipe the sweat away; Then proceed and stay sure you'll get right to the finish!

Saluti!
Cheers :D
