Interval Training

I structured yesterday's Interval Training in 3 parts:

- Very well warmed up, i did 5 series of 3 reps of crunch at the pulling bar. It's a kind of tough excersise, because you have to lift the entire body weight up by using the biceps and lats in the motion. It is necessary to stay relaxed and deeply breath. 30'' of recovery between series.

- Interval Training on the rowing machine, 30'' sprints 31/32 spm and 30'' slower pace 24/25 spm for a total time of 6'. Distance covered 4k.

- Burpees + Mountain Climbers: these two exercises were scheduled to be the transition between rowing machine and jumping rope. About the first ones i've already largely discussed before, about the second ones not yet! The video above explains them all, better than a thousand words! he he he.
10 rep burpees and got my heart in throat!! Rapidly followed by 10 rep mountain climbers with total involvement of the abs! :D

- Jumping Rope: 6' with variations, 30'' sprints - 30'' recovery at a lower pace. I tried to add all the jumping styles that got into my mind and, as a result, i performed a wonderful footwork. Here endeth the indoor part.

- Running: a 4k fartlek session or speed game, whatever you like it to call. 40'' sprints and 40'' recovery throughout the entire course. I covered the distance in 15':45'' but I still suffer from an inflammation on the left heel which still annoys me for the first minutes of run, so i must be very careful not to push too hard.

Today, total rest, later on I will dedicate myself to stretching.

Passatevela bene!
Be cool! :D
